Computer manufacturers are competing against each other for every sale.
We now see sub $1000 laptops/notebooks as “norm”. However, if it sounds to good to be true then it usually is.
Buying a cheap laptop to use as your primary computers is not recommended.
You will find that you be replacing your “cheap” laptop year after year. So you will probably pay $1000 a year for a computer.
Better value is to spend $1500 or so, and have a computer that you replace in 3 years.
This will give you a cost of $500 a year, half the cost.
Spend a little more, and get a lot more.
